T Cross, The Upcoming Creta Rival from VolksWagen

The Compact SUV segment in India is flooding with new launches from most of the automobile vendors due to the shift in taste of the Indian car buyers. People are opting for mini SUVs rather than Sedans that cost the same. The VW still doesn't have a compact SUV for India. But Steffen Knap, Director of VolksWagen India hinted that VW just might bring a whole new compact SUV to the Indian market named T Cross. Don't get too excited. The T Cross is not expected to hit the roads anytime soon.












the petrol variant could be powered by a 1.0 litre turbocharged engine and diesel variant with a 1.5 litre engine. From the images, it looks very promising. Being a VolksWagen, The starting price could be around 9 to 10 lakhs.
