The new gen verna is entirely based on a new platform called the K2 platform which is also shared by the elder sibling elantra. With the new platform, the 2017 verna becomes spacious than ever before.
The most satisfying factor about this new platform is that it uses highly rigid steel components for the body which makes verna more safe whereas cars like suzuki ciaz are losing lighter components to improve fuel efficiency. 

2. No More Sweaty Backs


How many times have you cursed yourself and your car for sweating the back when driving? Hyundai becomes the segment first to offer ventilated seats through the new verna 2017. only premium vehicles used to have the ventilated seats feature. 

3. Fresh Design

A lot has changed in terms of visual styling from the previous generation of the verna. The 2017 verna gets cascaded grille like the elite i20. The rear end is more like a Sportsback than a regular sedan. both the cascaded grille and rear sportsback styling somewhere resembles the 2017 audi s5 sportsback. It also gets 16 inch diamond cut alloys. The fluidic body lines run through the sides of the body. the curved headlamps and signature LED taillamps are very appealing.

4. Improved Handling

With the new rigid steel body and platform, the new verna offers more confidence than its predecessor. the steering has improved dramatically. Even being a Electronically assisted unit, the precision and feedback is just great at high speeds.  Hyundai claims to have the suspension reworked for better handling and comfort.

Being a Hyundai, the verna also comes with tons of electronic features that comes in handy. The features range from
